Our Connect team help new people get connected into the life of the church. So if you are a friendly face that loves to make people feel at home this team is for you.

The Venue team are responsible for getting our venues ready for our Sunday celebrations. They do everything from laying out the chairs to putting up banners - and packing away again at the end.

The Front of House or Welcome team are the first faces you’ll see as you arrive on a Sunday.

In Sudbury site our Welcome team meets people at the door and helps people find the coffee and toilets and helps with whatever is needed! All with a friendly face and a smile !

In Bury St Edmunds site our Front of House team starts in the car park:

Car Park: Our welcome really does start in the car park! If you can smile in all weathers (and hold out an umbrella when needed) and enjoy meeting people, this could be the team for you.

Hosting: A friendly face and a smile at the door help people feel at home as they arrive to take part in our Sunday celebration. Our hosts help with whatever immediate needs people might have—from finding Kidzone or a seat to getting a cup of coffee.

So, if you enjoy meeting people and want to be part of creating a warm Vineyard welcome on Sundays, this is the team for you at either site!

The hospitality team makes sure there are plenty of teas, coffees, and doughnuts ready to welcome everybody on a Sunday.

The Vineyard Kids team welcomes all children from the age of 1 - 11 for a morning of games, craft, worship, prayer - and lots of silly fun! Teams are allocated to different age groups (these vary in each site).

Please note, for kids team we will require an additional application, including a DBS check. You'll receive details after registering your interest.

The youth team leads activities for school years 7 - 13 during our Sunday celebrations and on Friday evenings. This may be leading the youth in games, worship, prayer, or teaching the Bible. Exact days and times vary according to the site.

The Worship team help us make a space to meet with Jesus and lead our musical worship. If you are a worshipper with musical ability who loves the vision and values of Vineyard and you wish to join in with us then we would love to hear from you.

The Production team look after the visual, audio and lighting elements of our celebrations, setting the environment to allow people to freely engage with God.

They are responsible for helping the worship team sound-check, making sure our services can be heard and recorded, and are in charge of everything that is projected during our services on to the screens as well as our livestream.

The Communion team is responsible for setting up our communion tables with bread and wine on the Sundays when we share communion.
